Sample Itinerary
day 1 - Depart USA - the group will likely meet in LAX before flying over together
day 2 - Travel day - it's a long ways to NZ, plus we'll be crossing the international date line
day 3 - Arrive in Auckland and settle in, rest and recover from the long journey.
day 4 - City tour of Auckland and orientation throughout the day. tour the Sky Tower, Mission Bay, and more.
day 5-7 - interact with humanitarian work in auckland and the surrounding area
day 8 - depart urban Auckland for more rural Hobbiton and Rotorua, attending a traditional Maori native shows, see the famous glow worms, spectacular hot springs and geysers, and see some of the places the Lord of the Rings movies were filmed. overnight rotorua
day 9 - We'll explore a little more of Rotorua on this day and do a light hike in the beautiful park to see a bit more of the amazing scenery at Rotorua. In the evening, we'll drive a couple hours to Thorton Bay and overnight there.
day 10 - take a relaxing day in thornton bay
day 11 - We'll drive a few hours back to Auckland for final sightseeing, souvenir shopping, and say good-bye to our new friends and hosts.
day 12 - Depart Auckland, arrive in the USA with the international date line working in our favor.
