Is Andrew personally traveling on this trip? Yes

Dear Friends of Mona Foundation-

This March, we invite you to join us in Panama to visit the Badi School.

Badi School started in 1993 as a kindergarten in the carport of a trailer home. The school is now a K-12 school serving more than 396 students, of whom 57% are girls, and is recognized for excellence in academics, arts, music and technology programs impacting the lives of thousands in the neighboring communities.

Though coming from deprivation and poverty, Badi School students have excelled. Scholarships for these students have kept them in school and allowed them to demonstrate their abilities. Every year Badi students are among those with the highest scores in the nation on college entrance exams, often winning the top spot. In addition to academics, many also excel in the arts.

With the Badi School in mind, Mona Foundation welcomes you to join our team this March for the trip of a lifetime to meet teachers and students, learn about the impact Mona Foundation is making in the region, and become better advocates for Mona Foundation’s work. Along the way, we will learn about Panama’s rich cultural history, make local friends, and of course, see the famous Panama Canal!

We look forward to having you with us this spring in Panama.
