For over 100 years, the India Gospel League (iglworld.org) has been ministering to communities in extreme poverty in India. Completely led by Indians, more than 70,000 village churches have been planted in just the last 25 years, and from these, physical needs have also been addressed. IGL works with churches to provide wells, microloans, life center buildings, orphanages, and more.
Eyewitness teams visit several ministry sites to become strong advocates at home for the work happening on the ground. Teams build relationships and see the work on the ground first hand.
Mountain Park Community Church will be taking a team on a trip like this in the fall of 2018.

*Please note - This itinerary is based on standard itineraries with the India Gospel League for Eyewitness trips. It is likely this itinerary will shift leading up to the trip based on unique opportunities for your group. As we get closer to the trip, we’ll communicate those changes clearly.
We’ll begin pricing out airfares in late spring early summer. Valerie and Andrew will agree on a flight itinerary and price that work best for the dates and we’ll work with passengers individually to purchase air. If you’d like to use credit card points or miles for airfare, we’ll work with you individually on that option as well.
Andrew W Lyon Travel will be sending out specific visa application instructions for each member of the group this summer. If you do not already have a passport, please apply soon and plan to have your passport no later than May 2018. Each individual will send their passport, passport sized photos, and application to Andrew W Lyon Travel and we’ll handle all the logistics, double checking all information and working with our partners at the Indian embassies to ensure the visas are returned with no problems.
